The Raiders made one of the biggest splashes of the offseason by trading for All-Pro receiver Davante Adams. Now that he is officially on the roster, the Raiders have one of the better receiving units in the league with Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller.
However, the Raiders need to continue to add depth after their top three receivers as they lost Zay Jones and DeSean Jackson (still available) in free agency.
That is why the team is meeting with Demarcus Robinson, the ex-Chiefs receiver on Tuesday. That news was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Chiefs’ free-agent WR Demarcus Robinson is meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders, per source.

Robinson is a 27-year old receiver who has appeared in 97 games with the Chiefs. He was originally a fourth-round pick by the team in the 2016 NFL Draft and has since gone on to start 42 games in the NFL.
He’s never been a big stat producer in the NFL, but he has totaled nearly 1,700 receiving yards on 145 catches. If the Raiders do sign Robinson, it will likely be as their No. 4 receiver to give them more depth. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
