Oklahoma State defended its title on March 19 at the N.I.T. at OMNI Tucson National’s Catalina Course in Tucson, Arizona. Far from just squeaking by the keep the top spot, the Cowboys blew away the field, going a remarkable 53 under for 54 holes and finishing 21 shots ahead of runner-up Texas.

The win was the second of the spring and the third this season for Oklahoma State.

A familiar name finished at the top of the leaderboard for the Cowboys as Eugenio Chacarra again led the team to victory. The senior helped his team pull away in the final round with a closing 64 and his 20-under total was good for medalist honors for the second time this spring.

Teammate Aman Gupta was third and two other Cowboys finished in the top 16.
