Details of former Ravens C Bradley Bozeman’s contract with Panthers released

The details of former Ravens center Bradley Bozeman’s contract with the Panthers were released

The Baltimore Ravens have seen a few of their 2022 free agents leave the organization to pursue other opportunities over the last few days. Players such as tight end Eric Tomlinson, cornerback Anthony Averett and quarterback Josh Johnson all moved over to the daunting AFC West. However, center Bradley Bozeman took his talents to the NFC with the Carolina Panthers.

Bozeman signed a one-year deal with Carolina, and on Sunday the details of his contract came out. Many were shocked by the low numbers that the center received, and thought that the team should have matched the offer.

Bozeman’s play over the last few seasons far outweighs the contract he ultimately got in free agency. It’s fair to wonder why Baltimore didn’t decide to seemingly pursue Bozeman at that price, but Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic speculates that the Ravens might have shut the door on the center returning to the team when he turned down an extension offer in December.
