“Yes, he’s athletic and can get the highlight dunks, but I like his playmaking, and it’s probably the biggest thing in his development is when he gets the rebound, I’m telling our guards to go and I want Jalen to make that decision,” Gansey said. “Sometimes he’s going to turn the ball over, but the majority of the time, it’s tough. You don’t see a 6-10 — and I really think he’s growing — I think him getting downhill and making reads, I think it’s tough to guard and it’s special for us. Some of these (after-timeout plays) I run is with him having the ball, making reads and making the passes. I think that’s his best attribute right now.”
