Falcons to meet with free-agent WR Jarvis Landry, per report

The Atlanta Falcons have a major need at the wide receiver position and will reportedly meet with free-agent WR Jarvis Landry.

The Atlanta Falcons have a major need at the wide receiver position after losing both Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley. According to a report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the team will meet with free-agent wideout Jarvis Landry.

Landry, 29, was a second-round pick by the Cleveland Browns out of LSU back in 2014. He was released by the Browns for cap space after they failed to find a trade partner prior to the start of free agency.

Over 123 career games in Cleveland, Landry has 688 receptions for 7,598 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns.
