Dana White isn’t really willing to entertain [autotag]Jake Paul[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Conor McGregor[/autotag].
Paul, who’s been non-stop jibing at the UFC president, recently suggested a one-fight UFC deal to fight McGregor, but his offer came with a stipulation.
The YouTube star-turned-professional boxer stated that if he beat McGregor, White would have to agree to his UFC fighter pay and healthcare proposal. If he loses, his entire purse would go to all UFC fighters who make less than $50K a fight and he’d never mention the UFC again. When asked about Paul’s proposal, White said it doesn’t make sense.
“Well, he shouldn’t even be fighting Conor McGregor,” White said on Impaulsive with Logan Paul. “These guys (the Pauls) are f*cking huge. He’s (Logan) huge, his brother (Jake) is huge. What’s your brother, 6’1”, 210? Conor McGregor is 145, 155 pounds…there’s weight classes for a reason.”
He continued, “It’s a stretch for Conor to fight at 170. He fought Nate (Diaz) at 170. That isn’t his f*cking weight class, not even close.”
Paul took to Twitter to respond to White with a counterproposal.
“Dana White is begging for Diaz and Conor to fight for a third time…they have fought at 170 pounds in both their fights I will fight Conor at 175 pounds, no problem Stop making excuses pussies.”

White, who signed the likes of WWE superstars Brock Lesnar and CM Punk, as well as helping put together a boxing match between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, won’t completely rule out the idea of Paul vs. McGregor despite not being sold.
“I’m never completely closed off to anything,” White said. “I used to say that about things, but I don’t say that anymore because you never know. You never know what could happen.”
He continued, “It was never off-putting to me. In this business, it’s about attention. How much attention can you get? But more importantly, who gives a sh*t? Who cares that you’re gonna fight this guy on Saturday night? You’ve got to make people care. You’ve got to make people stay home. They have a lot of different choices on Saturday, what to do with their time, you’ve got to make them stay home and pay for it and everybody has a different style of doing that. I’m not against it. The thing is with me, if I really don’t like you and whatever, I won’t respond to you. I would’ve never responded to it.”
