Redshirt freshman outfielder and catcher Jared Dickey has been named as the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week.
Dickey has earned the honor for the second time this season.
Last week, Dickey led the SEC in hits (11), runs scored (11) and total bases (25). The 6-foot-2, 202-pound redshirt freshman also tied for the SEC lead with one triple last week.
Dickey had four multi-hit games and recorded at least one base hit in five contests last week.
The Mount Juliet, Tennessee native was also named SEC Freshman of the Week on Feb. 28.
He came to the Vols from Friendship Christian School in Lebanon, Tennessee.
