Perhaps Brian Kelly hasn’t changed since he arrived at LSU as much as he’s gotten comfortable in being himself. He’s only been on campus since early December but has already faked a southern accent (horribly) and grinded on a recruit, but he isn’t done being weird, or perhaps just himself yet.
Earlier this week key Notre Dame target in the 2023 recruiting class Dante Moore was on LSU’s campus. The five-star quarterback that the Irish feel they’re very much in on has recently stopped by a few southern powerhouse programs.
Although this one isn’t nearly as awkward as the time Kelly grinded on the young man who wound up at Alabama, it was still weird enough. Scroll to see the second photo below.

It’s certainly nowhere near the level of the grinding but it’s still plenty awkward. I think Bridget on Twitter made the perfect comparison.
