On Friday, the NFLPA revealed the adjust salary cap for all 32 teams going into the new league year, which begins on March 16.
For the Tennessee Titans, their adjusted salary cap number is $210.9 million, which includes the $208.2 million league-wide salary cap total, plus the $2.7 million in unused cap space Tennessee rolled over from 2021.
While the Titans’ cap space situation is still very fluid, Over the Cap has the team with $3.4 million in cap space currently.
While that figure does include Tennessee’s recent cuts of Rodger Saffold, Kendall Lamm and Darrynton Evans, it does not include Harold Landry’s contract extension, which figures to pay him a little over $5 million in 2022.

On top of cost-cutting moves with the releases of Saffold, Lamm and Evans, the Titans also re-worked punter Brett Kern’s deal, lowering his 2022 money from $3.7 million to $2.2 million.
Chances are there will be more cuts in the days ahead, with cornerback Janoris Jenkins universally thought of as the most likely to go. We’d also expect some restructures to take place to further create wiggle room.
Free agency will unofficially kick off on March 14 with the start of the legal tampering period, but teams cannot officially sign players until March 16 at 4 p.m. ET.
