Ingram filled his calendar with workouts during the summer. His schedule was so packed that he had to mark off certain days just to have time to himself, and tardiness for any of his workouts was out of the question. Maintaining improved nutrition and sleeping patterns became a priority. “It was one of my most challenging summers, no doubt. Not even because of the work I was doing, but living up to the challenge of staying locked in every single day,” Ingram told The Athletic. “Not allowing myself to get caught up with distractions or extracurricular activities, even if I wanted to, because I had to focus on what’s most important.”
