With the Nets desperately needing a win to snap a four-game losing streak, star guard Kyrie Irving carried the team with his best scoring performance of the season, dropping 50 on the road in Charlotte to lead Brooklyn to a 132-121 win.
Irving was phenomenally efficient from the floor, shooting 15-of-19 and hitting 9-of-12 shots from beyond the arc. Andre Drummond also posted his best stat line since joining the team, finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
The win moved the Nets back to .500 on the season, and also moved Brooklyn ahead of Charlotte in the Eastern Conference standings. The Nets are currently the No. 8 seed in the East, two games behind No. 7 Toronto.
