After a loss against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday in Hollywood, the Golden State Warriors’ losing streak dropped to a season-high of four.
Following four consecutive losses on the way to a record of 2-8 over their last 10 games, the Warriors have slipped in the Western Conference standings.
With Golden State’s loss in Los Angeles and the Memphis Grizzlies beating the Orlando Magic on Saturday, the Warriors fell to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies jumped to a half-game lead over the Warriors with a record of 44-21.

After a loss against the Lakers, the Warriors’ schedule won’t get any easier going forward. On Monday, the Warriors will open a stretch of three games in four nights with a back-to-back against the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers.
While the Warriors play four consecutive games against teams with winning records, including the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks, the Grizzlies play four straight games against teams with losing records.
Before the season ends, the Grizzlies and Warriors will meet for the final time on March 28 in Memphis.
