WATCH: Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka on Jayson Tatum: ‘He’s a bucket!’

The Boston head coach had plenty of praise for his nascent superstar.

You should probably schedule yourself a trip to the eye doctor if you have not yet noticed that All-Star Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum has taken another leap forward as a player this season. No longer bothered when teams try to double-team him, the St. Louis native now passes out of them with ease and has improved his court vision to the point where he can make opposing defenses pay when they pay too much attention to him and fellow star on the wing Jaylen Brown.

And while his shot has not fallen at the rate it has in prior years of his pro career, he has found a host of other ways to impact the game, from bulking up and powering his way to the cup to grabbing a ridiculous number of rebounds to his lockdown defense.

Speaking on the ESPN show “NBA Today” with host Malika Andrews, Celtics head coach Ime Udoka sang the praises of his superstar swingman, even going so far as to say that Tatum is “a bucket”.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear all Udoka had to say about his up-and-coming star.
