NBA Twitter reacts after Warriors’ slide continues with loss vs. Timberwolves

After the Warriors’ slide continued with a loss against Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves, NBA Twitter chimed in with different reactions.

After blowing a 21-point lead in the second half on the way to a letdown loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors had a chance to bounce back on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, the Warriors’ defense has no answers for All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns. The Kentucky product notched a dominant near double-double with 39 points on 14-of-22 shooting from the field with nine boards in 32 minutes.

Steph Curry attempted to match Towns with 34 points of his own, but it wasn’t enough to solve Golden State’s recent slide. Outside of five triples from Curry, the Warriors struggled to find the bottom of the rim from deep against the Timberwolves. Golden State shot a rough 13-of-45 shooting from beyond the arc on Tuesday night.

Along with Towns, four other members of the Timberwolves tallied double-figures in scoring on the way to a blowout victory over the Warriors, 129-114.

After the Warriors dropped their fourth loss in five games, the NBA Twitter community chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Tuesday night.
