The Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team is coming off a thrilling double overtime victory over No. 25 Oregon as they head into Saturday’s final regular season game against Oregon State.
With wins in five of its last six games, Colorado has played some of its best basketball as of late. After an impressive 13-0 start to the season, the Buffs hit a rough stretch through the middle of Pac-12 play, but they have regained their stride as the regular season winds down.
Now with an overall record of 19-7, Colorado will look to finish its regular season with an even 20 wins when it hosts OSU at noon on Saturday. Colorado will also be honoring Mya Hollingshed, Lesila Finau, Peanut Tuitele and Aubrey Knight for Senior Day.
The Beavs are 13-11 on the season with a 6-8 record against Pac-12 opponents. They do, however, own an 11-game winning streak against the Buffs that dates all the way back to 2015. The Buffs’ most recent loss to Oregon State came earlier this season on Jan. 17 when they fell by three points on the road in overtime.

Freshman guard Talia von Oelhoffen is the heartbeat of the Beavs’ offense, averaging 14.3 points and 4.1 rebounds this season. Junior forward Taylor Jones is also putting together an impressive campaign with 12.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
With a win over Oregon State and a Utah loss to Oregon on Saturday, the Buffs can snag a fifth-place spot in the Pac-12 standings to close out the year. Although their NET ranking didn’t move after they took down NET No. 12 Oregon, the Buffs are inside of Friday’s ESPN Bracketology as a nine-seed. Barring some unforseen disaster, CU is likely going dancing.
After beating No. 12 (in NET) Oregon on Wednesday, Colorado WBB hasn’t moved from No. 30 – and Oregon stayed at 12. After beating No. 49 Oregon St last night, Utah moved up 3 spots to No. 23 and OSU fell 6 spots to 55. 🤔 #cubuffs
