GoPokes247 is reporting that former Arkansas defensive lineman Solomon Wright has transferred to Oklahoma State.
Wright, a freshman from Vian, Okla. entered the Transfer Portal last November after completing his freshman season at Arkansas. Wright was redshirted during his only season with the Razorbacks and will have four eligible seasons with the Cowboys.
According to 247sports, Wright will join the Oklahoma State roster as a walk-on. The Cowboys have also added Wright’s brother, Elijah, from the University of Central Oklahoma, who will be a redshirt sophomore for Oklahoma State.
With both Solomon and Elijah on the roster at Oklahoma State, it ensures the legacy of the Wright name will continue. Their father, Kenyatta Wright, was a four-year starter at linebacker for Oklahoma State from 1996-1999, before enjoying a five-year career in the National Football League.
Wright is the ninth former Razorback to commit to another program from the Transfer Portal. He joins such players as Trelon Smith, John David White, Greg Brooks Jr., and Joe Foucha who have landed at different destinations.
