Tennessee junior outfielder Jordan Beck has been named to the Golden Spikes Award preseason watch list.
Beck’s selection marks the third consecutive year Tennessee has been represented on the preseason watch list for the award. The award goes to the top collegiate baseball player in the nation and is from USA Baseball.
Tennessee’s Max Ferguson and Connor Pavolony were named to the 2021 list.
Garrett Crochet and Alerick Soularie were on the list before the abbreviated 2020 campaign, which was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Beck, who hails from Hazel Green, Alabama, is a preseason All-SEC selection and has been recognized as a preseason All-America standout by multiple media outlets.
Beck led the Vols in home runs (15) last season and recorded a team-high 64 runs last year.
