The Arizona Cardinals started the 2021 NFL season looking like the team to beat in the NFC, but after a 10-2 start, the Cardinals fell apart and were dominated in their NFC Wild Card loss to the Rams.
That disappointing finish to the season has continued to linger, and quarterback Kyler Murray has been right at the center of it all.
Murray caught the NFL world’s attention when he scrubbed his Instagram of Cardinals content after the Pro Bowl. His agent declined to comment on it as everyone read into the move, but the Cardinals did respond by deleting every non-Kyler photo from their Instagram — seemingly a public way to smooth things over with the star quarterback.
Yet, all that went in contrast with a series of anonymous leaks — which had to come from sources within the team — smearing Murray.
Where’s it headed?
Despite the acrimony, the Cardinals expect things to calm down and Murray is their QB.
Select veterans hope to reach Murray on how he handle adversity better.

No, Kyler Murray doesn’t call his girlfriend at halftime.

Well, Murray had seen enough apparently. On Monday, he took to Twitter and finally issued his response to the drama.
