Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has made a positive impression on those around the league thanks to his approach with his own players, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of them.
While down at the Pro Bowl last week, Mahomes got a chance to work with Vrabel, who was the head coach of the AFC side, and the superstar quarterback thinks Vrabel would be a good coach to play for.
“I bet Vrabel would be an awesome coach, dude,” Mahomes said. “He’s like… he’s a player, so he understands, but he’s going to make sure you get your (expletive) done.”

No, Mahomes won’t be coming to Nashville to play for Vrabel, no matter how much he likes him. In fact, there’s a better chance Vrabel will one day make his way to Kansas City to coach Mahomes there.
Regardless, the fact that players have such a high opinion of Vrabel will only help the Titans in free agency in the years to come.
It also doesn’t hurt that Vrabel has done nothing but win since taking over the Titans, and his success led to a contract extension that will keep him in the two-tone blue for the long haul.
