How former Vols performed in the NBA Sunday.

One former University of Tennessee basketball player competed in the NBA Sunday.

In Boston, the Celtics won its eighth consecutive game, defeating Atlanta, 105-95, at TD Garden.

Grant Williams appeared off the bench for Boston, playing 27 minutes. He had five points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Williams, who was the No. 22 overall pick by the Celtics in the 2019 NBA draft, went 2-for-5 from the floor and 1-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Williams, who played three years for the Volunteers, left Tennessee in 2019 as the two-time SEC Player of the Year.
