The latest 2022 NFL draft projection from Luke Easterling over at Draft Wire, updated after this year’s Senior Bowl, has the New Orleans Saints spending their top picks on offense in each of the first two rounds. That’s a welcome change of pace after the team’s offense fell off during the later years of Sean Payton’s tenure. The Saints need a talent injection on offense.
With defensive-minded head coach Dennis Allen keeping his side of the ball in order, hiring a new offensive coordinator and giving them their pick of the litter in this year’s quarterback class makes an awful lot of sense. Let’s see if Draft Wire got it right this time:
