You’re living under a rock if you haven’t caught wind of what the great Caitlin Clark is up to these days. Iowa’s sensational sophomore is somehow outdoing her freshman year self (26.6 PPG, 5.9 RPG, 7.0 APG) by pouring in 27.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game.
And while the statistical averages pop off of the page, actually seeing her in action is the kind of experience you should be canceling plans to stay home and watch in real time (if you can’t get to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for a game). Clark’s ability to pour in the points from increasingly far ranges on the court has garnered a lot more attention this season.
Just ask NBA superstar Kevin Durant, who took the opportunity to sing Clark’s praises for a few minutes on the most recent episode of “The ETCs with Kevin Durant Podcast, ” released on February 9th.
.@KDTrey5 is a big fan of @CaitlinClark22 💯
"It looks like everybody on that court is way slower than her. … They're showing some stuff out there from a skills standpoint, and a creativity standpoint, you can't [ignore]."

“She’s coming through the lane, crossing over, through the legs (and) pulling up.”
KD can’t get enough of Caitlin Clark’s game, and I can’t blame him. She’s up to five triple-doubles on the season with Sabrina Ionescu’s NCAA women’s basketball record of eight triple-doubles for a single season (2019) within striking distance. Ionescu’s 18 career triple-doubles are also a milestone that Clark may be able to reach before she leaves college.
Triple-doubles or not, Clark will continue to dominate the court in the same way that she has throughout her Iowa Hawkeyes tenure. Sportsbooks are giving the No. 25 ranked Hawkeyes top-10 championship odds, which is incredible value for a team that has arguably the best player in college basketball.
Caitlin Clark (@CaitlinClark22) range is wild 🎯 Stat sheet OD too🔥 Double-double 46 pts, 10 asts, 4 rebs & 3 stls for the @iowawbb guard. #collegebasketball #womenshoops pic.twitter.com/tCfDp8nPrO
