It’s not exactly ideal, but in the world of COVID, nothing much is.
The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball has been able to reschedule a previous postponement with UCLA slated for Feb. 16 inside Matthew Knight Arena at 4 p.m.
These two teams were supposed to meet up Jan. 28, but because of injuries and pandemic-related issues, the Bruins were unable to play the game. The Pac-12 Conference counted the game as a UCLA forfeit and Oregon was awarded a conference wi, but the victory didn’t go towards the Ducks’ overall record.
Got it?
The main thing is these two rivals will get to face each other after all in what could be an important game for both squads. Oregon is 14-7 overall and 7-3 in Pac-12 play, while the Bruins are 10-8 overall, 5-5 in league action and a road win against the Ducks would go a long way towards their tournament hopes.
