WATCH: Boston’s two way forward Sam Hauser gets 30 points, 5 boards, 6 assists on 7-of-13 shooting from 3 vs. Grand Rapids

Should the Cs give the Virginia product more run with the parent club?

What if the Boston Celtics could add some much-needed shooting to the team simply by playing a player who is technically on their roster already with the parent club more than they have been?

In the midst of much searching for ways to improve the team around the margins ahead of the 2022 NBA trade deadline, the option of internal development remains open as well, and with how two way forward Sam Hauser has been playing of late with the Maine Celtics (Boston’s G League developmental affiliate), it could make sense to give the Virginia product more run with the parent club.

In a recent game with Maine against the Grand Rapids Gold (the Denver Nuggets G League affiliate), Hauser scored 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists while shooting 11-of-20 from the floor and a scorching 7-of-13 from 3-point range.
