Overview

Mitchell Tinsley wasn’t a highly confident player in high school. However, he brings plenty of experience from his success at Western Kentucky.

Tinsley spent two years at Western Kentucky, where he finished fifth in the nation in 2021 with 1,402 receiving yards. That’s not all. Tinsley also finished fifth and receiving touchdowns with 14.

Penn State will have some big shoes to fill with the departure of Jahan Dotson to the draft. However, Parker Washington could be in for an impressive year. With Tinsley playing alongside him, the Nittany Lions for a productive season next year in the passing game.

Tinsley was proven to be a reliable and productive receiver at Western Kentucky. He is a major addition to Penn State and puts himself in a nice position to boost his draft stock

Penn State is in good hands with Washington and Tinsley taking over. James Franklin and the rest of this coaching staff have kept themselves busy so far this offseason. Tinsley is a big addition to Penn State and will have an immediate impact on their offense.
