The Terrapins had a near-miss against No. 13 Michigan State last time out, falling 65-63 Tuesday as 3.5-point underdogs, but it was a loss nonetheless. Maryland has dropped two straight games, and four out of the past six, while going just 4-5 against the spread (ATS) across the past nine games.
The Buckeyes came up short in a ranked battle at No. 3 Purdue Jan. 30, losing 81-78 but covering as 9.5-point underdogs. Ohio State ended up having the week off after Thursday’s home game vs. Iowa was postponed due to weather.
The Buckeyes have covered a season-high three consecutive games, while hitting the Over in four of the previous six outings.
