DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, and Alex Caruso weren’t the only big offseason acquisitions made by the Chicago Bulls last summer.
The emergence of rookie Ayo Dosunmu has added a consistent, two-way threat off the bench for the Bulls so far this season, and the rest of the league has taken notice.
On Tuesday, the Illinois product was named to the 2022 Rising Stars roster for All-Star Weekend.

With Coby White missing the beginning of the season and injuries suffered by Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, and Alex Caruso, Dosunmu has gotten every opportunity to earn minutes and impress Billy Donovan.
Through 45 games, Dosunmu is averaging 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
