The conference championship round of the NFL playoffs saw three former University of Tennessee football players competing for a chance in advancing to the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on Feb. 13.
Former Vols did not advance to the Super Bowl.
The Rams defeated San Francisco, 20-17, in the NFC Championship game.
49ers’ wide receiver Jauan Jennings had two receptions for eight yards. Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley recorded six tackles for San Francisco.
Cincinnati defeated Kansas City, 24-21 in overtime, winning the AFC Championship game.
Rookie Trey Smith started at right tackle for the Chiefs.
