Nick Scott has become a playmaker for the Los Angeles Rams in the last three weeks with Jordan Fuller out, making big play after big play. He stepped up once again on Sunday against the 49ers, patrolling the middle of the field at safety and making his presence known.
On a throw over the middle to Deebo Samuel, Scott laid a huge shot on the receiver to prevent the completion. A flag was thrown initially, but after the officials discussed it, they picked up the flag and ruled it was a clean hit.
It absolutely wasn’t a foul, either, as Scott hit Samuel squarely in the chest without making contact with his helmet.
