Unfortunately, the AFC championship game is happening on Sunday and the Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t going to be a part of it. The Steelers got the boot in the first round thanks to a blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Those Chiefs welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to Kansas City with the winner headed to the Super Bowl. This is the fourth straight year the Chiefs have made it to the AFC title game.
For the Bengals, this is new territory. This team hadn’t even won a playoff game since 1990 until this season and haven’t been in the AFC title game since 1988.
Kansas City is powered by elite quarterback Patrick Mahomes and all those weapons on offense. For Cincinnati, they have their own three-pack of superstars on offense led by quarterback Joe Burrow.
