Trail Blazers at Rockets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Rockets 109, Trail Blazers 104

Money line

The Blazers have been fantastic lately away from home, winning four of their last six road games. That is four of their six total road wins this season. Is it sustainable?

The Rockets, meanwhile, have dropped eight straight on their home court and have the second-fewest home wins in the league this season. Houston is, though, the healthier team.

As bad as Portland has been on the road most of the season, I don’t trust their current run to be sustainable.

Take the underdog ROCKETS (+110).

Against the spread

Neither covered the spread in their last game, but both teams are performing well as of late against the spread.

The Blazers covered the spread in three straight and in seven of nine before taking an ATS loss last time out.

The Rockets covered the spread in three straight and in four of five before their ATS loss.

However, as I anticipate the Rockets getting the outright win, take the ROCKETS +2.5 (-115).

Over/Under

This line seems super high. These teams combined for only 196 points in their November meeting.

Only one of the Trail Blazers’ last seven games surpassed tonight’s projected total.

Three of the Rockets’ last seven have had totals higher than tonight’s projection.

Take UNDER 232.5 (-115).
