Titans’ Harold Landry added to 2022 Pro Bowl roster

Landry will be replacing Chargers pass-rusher Joey Bosa.

After getting snubbed in the initial vote for the 2022 Pro Bowl, Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Harold Landry will get to take part in the game after all.

Landry, who was originally named a reserve for the contest, has been chosen to replace Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher Joey Bosa, who can’t play due to injury.

This will be Landry’s first appearance in a Pro Bowl and he will join safety Kevin Byard, who was the only Titans player initially voted in.

The honor is well-deserved, as Landry had his best season as a pro in 2021. The Boston College product tallied a career-high 12 sacks, and he added 1.5 more in the playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Landry’s career-best campaign came at the perfect time for him, as he’s set to hit the open market this offseason. However, the expectation is that the Titans will bring him back one way or the other.

Landry was one of seven Titans players who were chosen as reserves for this year’s Pro Bowl, a list that also includes defensive linemen Jeffery Simmons and Denico Autry, outside linebacker Ola Adeniyi (special teams), long snapper Morgan Cox, left tackle Taylor Lewan, and left guard Rodger Saffold.

The 2022 Pro Bowl will take place on Feb. 6 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
