The Badgers have created a California pipeline in the transfer portal, as Wisconsin landed a UCLA transfer wide receiver earlier this week.
Wisconsin is adding wide receiver Keontez Lewis, who was a three-star commit to UCLA in the class of 2021. The Illinois native has three years of eligibility left to help out the Badgers.
Lewis played sparingly in his freshman season as he sat behind more experienced UCLA wide receivers. A number of high profile schools were in the running for his services coming out of high school, as he held offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa, Oregon, and Kentucky among others.
The Badgers will have tons of opportunity available at the position with Danny Davis III and Kendric Pryor departing Madison.
Lewis stands at 6-foot-3, and immediately becomes one of the biggest wide receiver options on the Wisconsin roster.
