Rookie Jonathan Kuminga enters starting lineup for Warriors on Tuesday vs. Pistons

On Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons, rookie Jonathan Kuminga will enter the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors.

With Draymond Green slated to miss at least the next two weeks due to a calf and lower back injury, Steve Kerr will need to add a new face to Golden State’s lineup.

To start a seven-game homestand against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, Jonathan Kuminga will get the call in the starting lineup. The 19-year-old rookie will join the starting lineup alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

Kuminga and the Warriors are set to meet 2021 No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and the Pistons on Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
