It looks like the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers are swapping quarterbacks, in a sense.
On Monday night, former Oregon backup QB Robby Ashford announced that he would be committing to Auburn after entering the transfer portal earlier in the year. This comes several weeks after former Auburn QB Bo Nix announced his transfer to Oregon.
Ashford, who also played baseball at Oregon, now joins two other Ducks in transferring to Auburn. Both CB DJ James and DT Jayson Jones transferred to the Tigers earlier this offseason.
Ashford is a native of Hoover, Alabama.
At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Ashford is a former 4-star recruit who still has 4 years of eligibility remaining in college.
