The Milwaukee Bucks (27-18) visit Phillips Arena Monday to take on the Atlanta Hawks (17-25) in a Martin Luther King Day matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Bucks vs. Hawks odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.
After a rough start to the season, the Bucks have been playing quality basketball as of late. However, they have lost three of their last four, including two straight to the Charlotte Hornets.
The Bucks are 5-5 against the spread (ATS) over their last 10 games. Led by two-time MVP PF Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks will draw an injured Hawks side down starting C Clint Capela.
The Hawks have been extremely disappointing this season after an Eastern Conference Finals berth last season. They’re a pitiful 15-27 ATS and sit 12th in the East. Atlanta is led by PG Trae Young, who averages 27.6 point per game.

Bucks at Hawks odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Bucks 116, Hawks 110
Money line
PASS.
Atlanta is talented enough to not play Milwaukee’s -210 money line.
Against the spread
BET THE BUCKS -5.5 (-105).
The Bucks have a deeper side. Without C Brook Lopez (out indefinitely following December back surgery) and Holiday, they can supplement C Bobby Portis and SG Donte DiVincenzo.
The Hawks, on the other hand, haven’t played well without Capela in the lineup. He’s missed Atlanta’s last four games, all losses. The Hawks have covered just twice in their last 10 games. Despite Young’s heroics, they’ve fallen short far too many times.
The Bucks have two bona fide stars and a plethora of shooters. They’re one of the few teams that rank top 10 in both offensive and defensive rating. I’d bet on that.
Over/Under
LEAN to the UNDER 229.5 (-115).
While the Hawks are 22-20 O/U, the Bucks have been either limiting teams scoring or failing to score themselves.
Despite a 2-3 record, Milwaukee has cashed five consecutive Unders. With the Hawks sitting 19th in the league in pace and the Bucks having two elite defenders, I’d side with fewer points in this one.
