Florida basketball looks to snap its worst start in Southeastern Conference play since the early 1980s on the road against the South Carolina Gamecocks this afternoon. Neither team has played particularly well this year, though USC does have an SEC win — against the Vanderbilt Commodores — under its belt and is one game better in the win column.
According to the NET rankings, Florida currently sits at No. 50 with zero Quadrant 1 wins and a loss in both Quadrant 3 and 4 play. South Carolina finds itself much further down the list at No. 104 despite scoring a Quadrant 1 win, though it does have a pair of Quadrant 3 losses.
The Tipico Sportsbook favors the Gators by 4.5-points over the Gamecocks while the over/under is set at 141.5. The money lines for Florida and South Carolina are minus-210 and plus-170, respectively, as of 10 a.m. EST on Saturday morning.
