Georgia senior running back James Cook has decided to forgo the extra COVID year of eligibility and has declared for the NFL draft this Spring.

The decision comes after Cook’s most productive season of his career as a Georgia Bulldog, in which he helped lead the Dawgs to their first national title in 41 years.

In 2021, Cook racked up 113 attempts for 728 yards rushing (6.4 avg.) with seven touchdowns, while adding 27 receptions for 284 yards and four touchdowns, all career-highs.
