To the surprise of almost no one who followed it closely, former Arkansas safety Joe Foucha has landed in his new destination.
Foucha, a captain for the Razorbacks in 2021, entered the transfer portal last week and Tuesday he announced he would play his final season as a super senior back in his home state of Louisiana at LSU.

Foucha, a New Orleans native, was recruited by the Tigers when he was in high school, but joined the Razorbacks in the Class of 2018. He spent most of the last three years as a starter, including starting all 13 in 2021 when he had 75 tackles, including 7 1/2 for-loss and an interception.
Shortly after Foucha announced he was entering the portal, Arkansas’ starting nickel back Greg Brooks Jr. did the same. Brooks, too, is a Louisiana native.
Foucha will get an opportunity to play against the Razorbacks when LSU comes up from Baton Rouge on November 12 of next season.
