According to a new report from On3’s Matt Zenitz, Oregon Ducks freshman running back entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal on Tuesday afternoon, but turned right around and removed his name a few minutes later.
Zenitz reports that Dollars entered his name into the portal at 4:25 PT, but removed his name just seven minutes later at 4:32 PT.
Losing Dollars to the transfer portal would be a big blow for the depth and the future at the running back position for Oregon. Though Dollars sat for the 2021 season because of a knee injury, the former 4-star recruit is among the most anticipated players on the Ducks’ roster, with many expecting him to play a huge role in the offense going forward.
Dollars has played in six career games at Oregon, carrying the ball 15 times for 128 yards. As we look to find out what happened with his name and the transfer portal in the future, we can at least hope that he will be sticking around in Eugene for the 2022 season and beyond.
