So I’ve got to accept those moments, and I felt really good. I felt great defensively. I felt strong, and I’m excited for the challenge ahead, guarding the best guys in the league again.” Defense will always be a collective effort, but Thompson’s part in the Warriors’ impressive track record on that front is hardly a coincidence.
