Titans’ winners and losers from Week 18 victory over Texans

Julio Jones had one of his best games of the 2021 season and found the end zone for the first time, but could have had much more.

The Tennessee Titans made us sweat it out in the second half, but they were able to come away with a 28-25 win over the Houston Texans in Week 18. With the victory, the Titans have officially clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC for the first time since 2008.

That gives them a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, and leaves them just two wins shy of Super Bowl LVI.

It has been a regular season to remember for Tennessee. Despite fielding a record number of players due to injuries and not having Derrick Henry for half a season, the Titans managed to overcome it all, which should make head coach Mike Vrabel the NFL Coach of the Year.

While that’s all well and good, the Titans still have to finish the job by winning a Super Bowl or else all of this will be for naught.

Before we start looking ahead to a nice week off and an eventual playoff matchup in two weeks, let’s take a look back at the Week 18 win and see which players came out of it as winners, losers, and somewhere in between.
