The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their season finale against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, where they’ll be looking to end the season — and Matt Nagy’s tenure — on a high note.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, the Bears signed rookie wide receiver Dazz Newsome from the practice squad to the active roster.
Newsome has spent most of the 2021 season on the practice squad, where he made his NFL debut Dec. 20 against the Vikings. Newsome saw his most action the following week against the Seattle Seahawks, where he caught one pass for 10 yards and returned one punt for 28 yards, which set up a touchdown.

Newsome could see some more opportunities Sunday, both on offense and as a punt returner, as Jakeem Grant was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
