Detroit Lions injury update: 5 starters limited in Thursday’s practice, Jason Cabinda still out

The second practice injury report for Week 18 read the same as the first one for the Detroit Lions. Fullback Jason Cabinda remains the only Detroit player on the active roster who did not participate at all in Thursday’s practice session.

There were five Lions who were officially designated as limited participants. Most notable in that group is starting quarterback Jared Goff, who continues to try and get back from a knee injury suffered in Week 15.

With just one more practice in the season before Sunday’s 2021 finale against the visiting Green Bay Packers, the Lions active roster is in relatively good health. It is little consolation with 10 starters on injured reserve, but it does give Detroit a chance to compete.
