Ravens release first injury report for Week 18 matchup vs. Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens released their first injury report of the week ahead of a Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Baltimore Ravens enter Week 18 down multiple players due to injuries with a slim chance of making the NFL playoffs. Despite the lack of luck the team has had, they hold an 8-8 record and continue to never give up in any matchup.

On Wednesday, the Ravens released their first injury report of the week ahead of a Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The report was long, like previous weeks with numerous players not participating to start the week, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, who missed yet another practice with an ankle injury that he suffered in Week 14.

When asked about the progress of Jackson during Wednesday’s media session, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he had no update.

“I don’t have any update, and I really don’t even see the value of talking about it at this point in time,” Harbaugh said. We’re trying to get ready to play the game. It’s really not something I want to put a lot of information out there about anyway. That’s where we’re at with it.”

Other players who did not practice included cornerback Anthony Averett (ribs/chest), tackle Patrick Mekari (hand), outside linebacker Odafe Oweh (foot) and fullback Patrick Ricard (knee).

Guard Ben Powers (foot) was limited in practice while quarterback Tyler Huntley (illness) and center Bradley Bozeman (illness) practiced in full.

Closing out the report was outside linebacker Justin Houston, guard Kevin Zeitler and cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Tavon Young who were given a day of rest.
