Neil Druckmann, the co-president of Naughty Dog, spoke a bit about what the studio is working on during Sony’s CES 2022 conference.
A lot is happening at Naughty Dog right now. Between live-action Uncharted film starring Tom Holland and HBO’s The Last Of Us TV series with Pedro Pascal, much of the studio is busy collaborating on a number of adaptations. However, Druckmann took the time to tease fans about some unannounced video games.
“We’re dying to share with you the multiple game projects we have in the works at Naughty Dog,” Druckmann said. You can check out an archive of that here.
Proud of the structural changes the studio implemented that have significantly improved our organization & work/life balance! Proud of how our various projects are coming together! Proud of you, dogs! Great stuff ahead for Naughty Dog in 2022! Happy New Year, y’all! ♥️ pic.twitter.com/I6t42dJno5

Right now, the only game project we know of happening at Naughty Dog is the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection, which updates Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for PS5 and PC. Aside from that, however, it’s unknown what Druckmann was referring to during the conference. Naughty’s Dog’s last full title was The Last Of Us: Part 2, which came out in June 2020.
Whatever Naughty Dog is making: It’s going to be huge. The studio is PlayStation’s crown jewel for a reason, after all. It’s a safe bet that they’re not bringing back Crash Bandicoot, at any rate.
