UFC middleweight [autotag]Marvin Vettori[/autotag] is the latest fighter to have [autotag]Jake Paul[/autotag] in his crosshairs.
In the midst of Paul’s ongoing spat with UFC president Dana White, former middleweight title challenger Vettori issued a challenge of his own to the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Unlike many of the other challenges Paul has received from those in the combat sports community, Vettori’s did not call for an actual bout – but rather a sparring match. Vettori included a video of some of his boxing teammates praising his abilities.
“Hei Fake Paul @jakepaul let’s set up a sparring,” Vettori wrote on Twitter. “I’ll match any bet you want. You claim anybody, anytime, anywhere but you won’t go further then 6 rounds I promise you that. Put your nuts on the table, I wanna feel if you can really box. #FakePaul #theitaliandream”

Neither Vettori nor Paul have a fight booked at the moment. Vettori most recently competed at UFC Fight Night 196 when he defeated Paulo Costa by unanimous decision in a bonus-earning light heavyweight main event.
On Dec. 18, Paul defeated Tyron Woodley via sixth-round knockout in a boxing match rematch to elevate his undefeated boxing record to 5-0. Paul has since been calling for a match against UFC star Jorge Masvidal in boxing – or MMA, should White agree to terms Paul issued Saturday on Twitter.
