Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree is in some legal hot water at the moment after allegedly getting into a physical altercation at a Walgreens in Nashville on Sunday night.
According to Metro Nashville Police, the incident started when an employee at Walgreens began filming Dupree when he was in the store, which led to a physical altercation.
Here’s more details of the incident from Mariah Timms and Ben Arthur of The Tennessean:
Dupree, 28, was at a Walgreens store in the 1100 block of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard around 8 p.m. Sunday with “several” companions, according to a short news release from MNPD.
A male employee was allegedly filming Dupree on his phone before the incident which MNPD spokesperson Don Aaron called a “physical altercation” in an emailed release.
Two employees were treated for injuries after the altercation. A female employee was treated for a cut on her hand, and a male employee was treated for a cut to his forehead, Aaron said.
Dupree had left the store by the time police arrived, according to Aaron.
Dupree, who met with police on Tuesday, has since been charged with misdemeanor assault and is due to be booked in three weeks.
