It’s been a while since an active NFL player has appeared on ESPN’s Peyton and Eli Manning Monday Night MegaCast — or, the ManningCast, as we’ve come to call it.
That’s perhaps because a “curse” popped up for those who showed up on the broadcast — Travis Kelce, Russell Wilson, Rob Gronkowski, Matthew Stafford, Tom Brady and Josh Allen all appeared and then lost their games the next week.
For weeks, the guest list didn’t include current NFLers … until Monday night’s Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers tilt.
That’s right, Aaron Rodgers will be the fourth guest — following Bill Cowher, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Snoop Dogg — for the ManningCast:

Now, look: The Green Bay Packers clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so Rodgers might not even play next week, and he’ll have a playoff bye to enjoy.
But what if this means the next game he plays in — a playoff game! — is cursed? WELP.
Good luck, Aaron.
