Week 17 will see the Dallas Cowboys take on the Arizona Cardinals with both teams looking to improve their position in the NFC playoff race. For the Cowboys’ defense, the task will be tough as they look to slow down quarterback Kyler Murray and a talented wide receiver group that features Christian Kirk and A.J. Green.
The Cowboys have gotten several key contributors back from the Reserve/COVID list in the last few days as safety Malik Hooker and defensive tackle Trysten Hill were activated on Wednesday followed by cornerback Jourdan Lewis was on Thursday. However, on Friday, the Cowboys’ defensive line took another hit as rookie defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna tested positive for COVID and won’t play on Sunday.
Cowboys NT Quinton Bohanna has tested positive for COVID-19, coach Mike McCarthy said. He won't play Sunday vs. Cardinals.

Earlier in the week, Dallas also placed LB Francis Bernard on the COVID list, but he was likely already out for the game with a groin injury suffered in the win over Washington in Week 16.
Bohanna was selected in the sixth round as a part of the revamping of the Cowboys’ defense that leads the NFL with 33 takeaways. He’s played in 14 games with one start and has logged 10 tackles.
The hope now for defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is that he can get Bohanna back next week for the season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles which will allow him to get some reps under his belt before the playoffs.
